As a non-profit, we receive no local, state or federal funding and rely solely on donations, fundraising and occasional grants. Below you will find a list of our most needed items. There is also a link to donate items on our Chewy Wish List as well as simple ways to help us continue our mission of helping the animals and people of Ottawa County.

Memorial Donations:
If you've lost a friend or loved one, why not make a donation to the shelter in their honor? We receive memorial donations quite regularly in honor of animal lovers near and far. When you donate in honor of someone, we send you a note of thanks as well as a nice, handwritten acknowledgement to the next of kin. Click on a "Donate" button (at the bottom of every web page) and simply enter the person being memorialized in the notes to seller and we'll take it from there!

The Ohio Pet Fund grant is one that we apply for every year. For just $25, you can choose from a variety of pet themed license plates. All monies from the purchase of these plates are distributed to shelters and rescues throughout Ohio.
